Dear Friends and Neighbors,
I fell in love with Georgia 28 years ago when I graduated college and piled my life's possessions into my white VW Cabriolet Convertible and headed down I-75 South to work catering in the Athletes Village for the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta. I have called Georgia home ever since.
I have spent 25 years in the construction industry specializing in contracts, procurement, and facilities management, the last 17 years of which in service to the State of Georgia. I have also served as Treasurer on two non-profit boards, and I am the current President of Friends of LINC. I hold a B.A. in Psychology, and an M.B.A. in Project Management.
My family and I moved to Coweta County in 2020 because of the rural, hometown feel of the community coupled with the convenience of being a 30-minute drive to Downtown Atlanta or Hartsfield airport. My daughter attends Northgate High School and my husband Dennis is a union journeyman electrician.
In my off time, you may find me around Coweta walking my German Shepherd Hazel, playing golf, pickleball at the HOP, ukulele at Backstreet Community Arts, or volunteering. I like to say I am “chronically helpful”, and it is an affliction I’m proud of and would happily put to work as your next District 4 Coweta County Commissioner.
Yours in service,
Tess
